Submit a Mobile Timesheet for Approval

This article explains how to submit a mobile timesheet once you have entered all required information, and what to expect during the approval process.

📌 Note: Timesheets usually need to be submitted by a specific day and time each week, fortnight or month, depending on your organisation’s pay and billing cycles. Check your local process so your timesheets are submitted on time.


Submit a Mobile Timesheet for Approval

Follow these steps to submit a timesheet for the selected work period.

  1. Go to the Available Timesheets or Incomplete Timesheets list.

  2. Click the timesheet that you want to submit for approval. The timesheet opens in the timesheet entry screen.

  3. Review the timesheet and edit it if necessary, including any hours, allowances or reimbursement claims.

  4. At the top of the timesheet entry screen, click Submit. The timesheet closes, its status changes to Submitted, and it moves to the list of submitted timesheets.

📌 Note: If your timesheets are prefilled from your job schedule and your attendance, allowances and reimbursements match the schedule, you can submit the timesheet without making any changes.


What Happens After You Submit a Timesheet

When you submit a timesheet, its status changes to Submitted to show that it is waiting for approval.

  • The relevant approver or approvers review the submitted timesheet and either approve or reject it based on your recorded time and claims.

If the timesheet is rejected, you must reopen and edit the timesheet to fix any issues, then resubmit it for approval.

Some timesheets may go through multiple levels of approval. The timesheet remains in the Submitted state until all required approval levels are complete.
