Use conditional variable conditions to control when a pay or bill code rule applies, based on a selected conditional variable and its required value.

Define a Conditional Variable Condition

  1. In Edit Pay Agreement or Edit Bill Agreement, go to the Conditions tab, then find the Pay Code Rule Entry/Bill Code Rule Entry section.

  2. Next to Conditional Variable Condition, click Add to display the controls for selecting the conditional variable and its associated value.

  3. In the left-hand dropdown field, select the conditional variable name you want to use.

  4. In the right-hand dropdown field, select the value that must be matched for the condition to apply.

  5. To add another conditional variable condition, click Add next to Conditional Variable Condition again to add another row, then repeat steps 3 and 4.

πŸ“Œ Note: Each additional condition is added as a new row in the conditional variable control.
