You can edit or delete existing pay oncost headers and their associated oncost rates, depending on how they are used in the system.
📌 Note: Rules for Editing and Deleting Pay Oncosts
All attributes of a pay oncost header or its oncost rates can be edited, and oncost rates or headers can be deleted, only if both of the following apply:
None of the oncost rates belonging to the oncost header are linked to other oncost headers.
No pay codes are linked to the oncost header.
If either of these conditions applies, you can edit only oncost header name & active status.
Edit a Pay Oncost Header
Follow the steps below to edit an existing pay oncost header.
Search and open the required pay oncost in the Oncost Entry screen.
In the Oncost Header Entry pane, update the required fields.
Any fields that cannot be edited are disabled.Click Save.
Edit a Pay Oncost Rate
Follow the steps below to edit an existing oncost rate.
Search and open the required pay oncost in the Pay Oncost Entry screen.
In the left-hand pane, click Rates to expand Oncost Rate section.
Click the oncost rate you want to edit.
Update the required fields. Any fields that cannot be edited are disabled.
Click Save.
Delete a Pay Oncost Rate
Follow the steps below to delete an oncost rate.
Search and open the required pay oncost in the Pay Oncost Entry screen.
In the left-hand pane, click Rates to expand Oncost Rate section.
Click the oncost rate you want to delete.
Click Remove, then click Delete to confirm in the pop-up message.
Click Save.
Delete a Pay Oncost Header
Follow the steps below to delete an existing pay oncost header.
Search and open the required pay oncost in the Oncost Entry screen.
In the list of existing pay oncost headers, click Delete next to the pay oncost header you want to remove.
Click Delete to confirm in the pop-up message.
