Create a Bill Oncost Header
To create a bill oncost header, follow the procedure below.
In the left-hand pane of the Maintenance area, click Oncost to open the Oncost List screen.
Click Add to open the Oncost Header Entry screen.
In the Type field, select Bill.
In the Name field, enter a unique name that identifies the bill oncost within the selected country.
In the Country field, select the suitable country to identify which country this oncost will apply to.
Review the details and click Save to create the bill oncost header.
Bill Oncost Header Fields
Field | Description |
Name | Identifies the bill oncost. The name must be unique within the country the bill oncost belongs. |
Active | Indicates whether the bill oncost is active and can be applied to pay codes. If the oncost was already linked to pay codes before being made inactive, it may still apply during bill interpretation if those pay codes are processed. |
Country | Defines the country to which the bill oncost belongs. The oncost applies only to bill agreements associated with the selected country. This field defaults to the country assigned to the user. |
Australia WorkCover AU | When selected, indicates that the bill oncost triggers calculation of WorkCover oncosts based on the WorkCover rate applicable to a job order. This option is available only for bill oncosts belonging to Australia, and only one active bill oncost can have this flag enabled at a time. |
Last (Timesheet/ Pay) End Date | Displays the end date of the most recent timesheet or pay batch processed using a pay-dependent bill agreement that references this oncost. This date determines whether and how the oncost can be edited. The field is blank if the oncost has not yet been applied. |
Include in Finance Integration Export | When selected, pay oncosts calculated in a pay batch and linked to this header are included in Finance Integration exports. This field is available from version 11.22 onwards. |
Linked Oncost Headers | Displays other oncost headers linked to this oncost. These links define dependency relationships used in calculations, such as workers’ compensation being calculated on earnings inclusive of superannuation. Links are created via oncost rates. |
Linked Paycodes | Displays pay codes linked to this bill oncost, including the validity period for each link. Pay code links are maintained in the Pay Code Entry screen. |
