What you can change in an existing pay agreement depends on:
Whether it has been assigned to a job order or job order template.
The Last Timesheet End Date recorded on the agreement header.
The validity dates of the agreement header and its components.
This article explains the rules for editing or deleting:
The agreement header.
The primary interpretation header.
Primary interpretation rules (time rounding, midnight boundary, unpaid breaks).
Secondary interpretation rules (pay code rules, pay rate rules).
Agreement Header Rules
When the Last Timesheet End Date is blank
If the Last Timesheet End Date field in the agreement header is blank:
All attributes in the agreement header can be edited.
The agreement header can be deleted if the agreement is not assigned to a job order or job order template.
Pay rate rule hierarchy requirements:
Pay rate rules on an agreement must be assigned to either:
The same hierarchy level and value as the agreement header, or
A lower hierarchy value than the agreement header.
If you change the hierarchy level or hierarchy value in the agreement header, you may also need to:
Update the hierarchy level and value on existing pay rate rules, or
Delete pay rate rules that are no longer valid/required and would clash with the new hierarchy level/value on the agreement header.
When the Last Timesheet End Date is on or after the agreement Start Date
If the Last Timesheet End Date in the agreement header is equal to or later than the Start Date of the agreement header:
No attributes of the agreement header can be edited except the validity period end date.
The validity period end date cannot be set earlier than the Last Timesheet End Date.
The agreement header cannot be deleted.
Conditional variables and attachments
Conditional variables cannot be added or deleted from an agreement header once the pay agreement is assigned to a job order or job order template.
Attachments can be added and removed at any time from the agreement header.
