This article explains how to filter interpretation rules in the Edit Pay Agreement screen so you only see rules whose validity dates fall within a specific date range. This helps you quickly locate and work with the relevant rules in complex pay agreements.
Filter Primary and Secondary Interpretation Rules by Date
When you apply a date filter, the navigation pane in the Edit Pay Agreement screen continues to show the total number of rules in the agreement, but hides any rules that do not match your date range.
Primary interpretation headers and their rules are hidden if their validity dates are outside the filter, and secondary interpretation pay code and pay rate rules are hidden if their validity end dates fall outside the specified date range.
In the Edit Pay Agreement screen, click Filter by Validity.
Click the calendar button next to the From field, then select the earliest validity period start date you want to include.
Rules in the agreement that have a validity period end date before this date are hidden.
Click the calendar button next to the To field, then select the latest validity period end date you want to include.
Rules in the agreement that have a validity period end date later than this date are hidden.Review the navigation pane in the Edit Pay Agreement screen to work with the rules that remain visible within your selected date range.
To clear the filter and show all rules in the agreement again, remove the dates from both the From and To fields.
π Note:
You can leave the To field blank if you do not need to specify a maximum validity period end date.
The From field defaults to the current date.
