Use this article to manage existing notifications in the Notification Maintenance screen, including listing, searching, editing, and deleting notifications in the Time and Attendance Maintenance area.

⚠ Important: You must have access to Maintenance and Time & Attendance to view or manage notifications in the Notification Maintenance screen.

Access Notification Maintenance

  1. Open Recruitment Manager, then go to Maintenance from the main menu.

  2. Click Time & Attendance, then click Notifications to open the Notification Maintenance screen.

πŸ“Œ Note: The Notification Maintenance screen displays all existing notifications in a searchable list once you run a search.

List All Notifications

  1. Access the Notification Maintenance screen as described in Access Notification Maintenance, then locate the Search Notifications section.

  2. Leave all search fields blank, then click Search to return the full list of existing notifications.

Use the full notification list to quickly review configuration, status, and delivery methods across all notifications.

Search for Specific Notifications

  1. Access the Notification Maintenance screen, then go to the Search Notifications section.

  2. Enter or select as many details as you know about the notification (for example Name, Status, or Type), then click Search.

  3. Review the Notifications list, then confirm that only notifications matching your search criteria appear.

If no notifications match the criteria you enter, the Notifications list will be empty. Try widening your search by removing or adjusting some filters.

πŸ€“ Tip: Combine multiple search fields (such as Notification Type and Status) to narrow the list when many notifications exist.

Edit an Existing Notification

  1. Access the Notification Maintenance screen, then use the Search Notifications section to find the notification you want to edit.

  2. In the Notifications list, locate the required notification, then click Action next to it.

  3. From the Action menu, click Edit, then wait for the Edit Notification screen to open.

  4. Update the notification details as required (for example Name, Status, Type, delay and recurrence settings, delivery methods, and templates), then review your changes.

  5. Click Save, then confirm the success message to ensure the notification updates correctly.

⚠ Important: Changes to notification type, recurrence, or templates can affect multiple users. Always confirm the configuration with your team before saving edits to live notifications.

Delete an Existing Notification

  1. Access the Notification Maintenance screen, then search for the notification you want to remove using the Search Notifications section.

  2. In the Notifications list, find the notification you intend to delete, then click Action next to it.

  3. From the Action menu, click Delete, then review the details on the Delete Notification screen.

  4. Click Delete again to confirm, then check that the notification no longer appears in the Notifications list.

⚠ Important: Deleting a notification permanently removes it from the system and stops any future sends. Make sure no active business process or workflow still depends on the notification before you delete it.

πŸ€“ Tip: Consider setting the notification to Inactive instead of deleting it if you might need the configuration again in future.

πŸ’‘ Best Practices

  • Always search for an existing notification before creating a new one to avoid duplicates.

  • Use clear and descriptive notification names so other users can easily identify their purpose.

  • Set notifications to Inactive first when testing changes, then monitor behaviour before deleting them permanently.

  • Regularly review notifications for relevance and remove or deactivate obsolete items to keep the list manageable.

  • Confirm that delivery templates are up to date whenever you edit notification types or delivery methods.
