Knockout questions enable your system to automatically assess a candidate's suitability for a role based on their answers.
Instead of manually reviewing every application, the system handles the initial sorting, ensuring recruiters focus only on the most relevant candidates.
How to set up Knockout question:
Choose a suitable question type (numeric, yes/ no, value list, date).
Tick “Knockout” box & set up Knockout Options as you wish.
There are 3 options to filter candidates: Discard & Move to knockout stage.
Discard: candidate is rejected instantly and will not be considered for the job.
Move to knockout stage: Candidate profiles are imported, but they are placed into a Knockout Stage (a specific stage for backup candidates) for potential future consideration or similar jobs.
Preferred candidate (no Knockout option chosen): They enter the standard referral workflow for immediate consideration.
Please see above for the example of a knock-out question:
Candidates with 0 - 1 years of driving experience will be rejected immediately.
Candidates with 1 - 2 years of driving experience will be moved to the knock-out stage.
Candidates with 2 years of experience or above will enter the referral workflow.
📌 Important: The Discard action always takes precedence over the Move to Knockout Stage action. If the candidate selects one answer that triggers 'Discard' and another that triggers 'Move to Knockout,' they will be discarded.
