How to Send or Reply to a Mobile Timesheet Notification

Learn how to send a new mobile timesheet notification and reply to an existing notification from a timesheet.

Use mobile timesheet notifications to query or share information about a specific timesheet with other workflow participants in the workflow.


Send a Mobile Timesheet Notification

  1. From the Available Timesheets, Incomplete Timesheets, Rejected Timesheets or Submitted Timesheets list, open the relevant timesheet.

  2. On the timesheet entry screen, click the envelope icon to open a new notification message.

  3. In the Recipient field, select the timesheet workflow participant you want to notify, for example Initiator/s to send the notification to the timesheet initiator.
    ​Note: The options available in the Recipient field depend on the current status of the timesheet and the workflow that applies to the timesheet.

  4. In the Add a subject field, enter the text that should appear in the subject line of the notification.

  5. In the Type your message field, enter the text that should appear in the body of the notification.

  6. Click Submit. The notification is sent to the selected recipient.


Reply to a Mobile Timesheet Notification

  1. Open the notification you want to reply to, if it is not already open.

  2. Within the notification, click the reply arrow icon.

    • A reply screen is displayed, showing:

      • The username of the person who will receive your reply.

      • The original subject line of the notification.

      • A field where you can type your reply.

  3. In the Type your message field, enter your reply to the notification.

  4. Click Save. Your reply is sent and the notification closes.
