Timesheet lists can be exported from any screen that displays timesheets, including Available Timesheets, Incomplete Timesheets, and Submitted Timesheets screens.

  • Exporting allows you to maintain records outside the system or reconcile weekly submissions during approval cycles.

⚠️ Important: You must have permission to view and export timesheet data.

Export a Timesheet List to a File

  1. Open a screen that displays a list of timesheets, then review the data you want to export.

  2. Click Export near the top-right corner of the screen, then wait for the Save As dialog to open.

  3. Type a file name in the File name field, then confirm that the name matches your export purpose.

  4. Select a format in the Save as type field if you want a different file type than the default .XLS.

  5. Choose the folder where the file should be saved, then click Save to complete the export.

Exported timesheets appear in a spreadsheet format when opened in Microsoft Excel.

πŸ’‘ Best Practices

  • Use consistent file names (for example, β€œWeek_Ending_2025-03-07”) to make reconciliation easier.

  • Save exported timesheets in a shared location if multiple approvers need access.

  • Confirm the week or date range on screen before exporting to avoid incomplete lists.
