⚠ Important: You need the Candidate Portal security permission to access this maintenance item.

Access Candidate Portal Maintenance

  1. Go to Global Maintenance.

  2. Click Candidate Portal to open the settings page.

  3. Review and update the available configuration options as described below.

Update the Candidate Portal Logo

  1. Click Edit next to Candidate Portal Logo.

  2. Select Remove to delete the current logo, or Add to upload a new one.

  3. Ensure the logo follows the aspect ratio 264w x 92h px to avoid distortion.

  4. Click Save to apply the logo and tagline to the Candidate Portal login page.

πŸ“Œ Note: Logos that do not match the required ratio will be automatically resized, which may cause stretching or compression.

Apply a Custom Style Sheet

  1. In the Style Sheet section, click Download Applied CSS to get the existing Cascading Style Sheet.

  2. To start from the default FastTrack360 style, click Download Standard CSS.

  3. Edit the CSS file as needed to modify colors or themes.

  4. Return to the Style Sheet section and click Edit to upload your updated CSS.

  5. Save your changes.

πŸ“Œ Note: Only users familiar with CSS should modify the file to avoid display issues.

Preview the Portal and Login Pages

  • In Login Preview, click Preview to view the Candidate Portal login page.

  • In Portal Preview, click Preview to view the Candidate Portal interface as a candidate would see it.

Allow Candidates to Edit Residency Details

  1. In the Edit Residency section, tick the checkbox to allow candidates to edit their Visa Type and Expire Date in the portal.

  2. Click Save to confirm.

Set the Candidate User Experience

  1. In the User Experience setting, choose whether the Candidate Portal opens in Mobile or PC view.

  2. Click Save to apply the change.

Enable Auto-Creation of Candidate Portal Users

When Auto Create Candidate Portal User is selected:

  1. The system checks every hour for new Active Candidates without a Portal User ID.

  2. For each matching candidate, the system:

    • Assigns the default Candidate Security Role.

    • Generates a password automatically.

  3. If a Candidate Email is available, a welcome email with login details is sent.

  4. If an email address is missing or duplicated, the candidate record is skipped.

πŸ“Œ Note: Skipped records will not have a portal user created until the issue is resolved.

πŸ’‘ Best Practices

  • Ensure uploaded logos meet the aspect ratio for a professional appearance.

  • Test new CSS changes in a sandbox before applying them to production.

  • Regularly preview login and portal pages after design changes.

  • Verify email addresses are unique before enabling auto-creation.

πŸ€” FAQs

Q1: What happens if my uploaded logo is larger or smaller than 264x92 px?

  • Answer: The system resizes the logo automatically, which may cause stretching. For best results, use the exact aspect ratio.

Q2: Can I revert to the default FastTrack360 CSS?

  • Answer: Yes. Click Download Standard CSS, then reapply it in Edit mode to restore default styling.

Q3: What if a candidate’s email address is missing or duplicated?

  • Answer: The system skips the record during auto-creation, and no portal user is created until the issue is corrected.
