The Time and Attendance Maintenance area contains four configuration areas: General, Standard Rates, Notification Templates, and Notifications. This area is separate from the main Maintenance module available from the navigation menu.

Configure General Settings
Use General settings to control the default behaviour of timesheet searches.
Go to Time and Attendance, then Maintenance, then General.
Click Edit.
Under Agency User, update the required settings:
Default Week Ending To, Weeks In Advance
Default Week Ending To, Week Ending Day
Default Week Ending From, Weeks In Arrears
Under Client/Candidate User, update the required settings:
Default Week Ending To, Weeks In Advance
Default Week Ending To, Week Ending Day
Default Timesheet Search Value
Save your changes.
Use these settings when you need to change the default date range or week-ending behaviour users see when searching for timesheets.
Configure Standard Rates
Use Standard Rates to control how standard rate and pay code information is populated on timesheets.
Go to Time and Attendance, then Maintenance, then Standard Rates.
Select the required view.
Click Edit.
Update the required settings.
Save your changes.

Create a Notification Template
Use Notification Templates to control the content of Email, SMS, and in-product Notification messages.
Go to Time and Attendance, then Maintenance, then Notification Templates.
Click on the Timesheet folder, select Email, SMS, or Notification.
Click Add Template based on what you selected above.
Enter the required template details and message content.
Save the template.
Depending on the template type, you can configure details such as the template name, email subject, email body, SMS content, notification subject, and notification body.
â ď¸ Important: Notification Templates control what the message says. They do not determine when the notification is triggered.
Edit or Delete a Notification Template
Go to Time and Attendance, then Maintenance, then Notification Templates.
Click on Timesheet folder, select Email, SMS, or Notification.
Locate the required template.
Click Action, then Edit to change the template.
To remove a template where appropriate, click Action, then Delete.
For example, edit the relevant Email template when you need to change the wording of a timesheet reminder email.
Create a Notification
Use Notifications to define when a notification is triggered, how it is delivered, and which notification configuration is available for use in a timesheet workflow.
Go to Time and Attendance, then Maintenance, then Notifications.
Click Add.
Configure the required notification settings.
Save the notification.

You can search existing notifications using Name, Notification Type, Notification Trigger, Delivery Method, Group Interval, and Active status.

For example, to send an email when a timesheet is rejected:
Go to Time and Attendance, then Maintenance, then Notification Templates, then Timesheet, then Email. Create or edit the required message content.
Go to Time and Attendance, then Maintenance, then Notifications. Configure an Immediate notification using the Rejected trigger and required delivery method.
Open the required Job Order, then go to Timesheet Workflow, then Instant Notifications, then Choose Rejection. Select the required notification.
đ Note: Notification Templates define the message content. Notifications define the trigger and delivery behaviour. Timesheet Workflow assigns the configured notification to the Job Order.
