Prepare the Import File
FastTrack360 validates the structure of a timesheet import file before the batch can be processed.
Before uploading the file, make sure:
The first row contains unique column headers.
Fields use a consistent delimiter such as a comma, tab, or pipe.
The file does not contain grouping or total rows that do not represent individual importable items.
Each row contains information that can be processed independently.
For XLS and XLSX files, the first completely blank row marks the end of the import data.
Dates use the
dd/mm/yyyyformat.Times use the 24-hour
hh:mmformat.
If the file structure fails validation, the batch cannot proceed.
For full file requirements, refer to Validate and Format Timesheet Import Files.
