The Submit to Timesheet option is controlled by the Edit permission on the relevant Job object. There is no separate permission for this action, so removing Edit also affects other job-editing functionality.
⚠️ Important: You cannot disable only Submit to Timesheet while retaining full job-editing access.
Restrict Submit to Timesheet for Temporary Jobs
Open the security permissions for the user's Connect role.
Locate Temporary Job - PBW.
Remove the Edit permission.
Save the role changes.
The user can continue to view temporary jobs where their remaining permissions allow it, but they cannot edit the job or select Submit to Timesheet.
Restrict Submit to Timesheet for Contract Jobs
Open the security permissions for the user's Connect role.
Locate Contract Job - PBW.
Remove the Edit permission.
Save the role changes.
The user can continue to view contract jobs where their remaining permissions allow it, but they cannot edit the job or select Submit to Timesheet.
📌 Note: If the user works with both temporary and contract jobs, remove the Edit permission from both Job objects.
Understand What Else Is Affected
Removing the Edit permission makes the relevant job effectively read-only for that user.
The user will also be unable to:
Edit or save changes to the job.
Use Undo Submit to Timesheet.
Perform other job actions that require Edit or Add permissions, such as searching for available candidates.
⚠️ Important: Removing Edit affects every job action that relies on that permission, not only Submit to Timesheet.
